Avalon.ph is a local book auction site. I checked their site today, on a whim, and discovered a treasure-trove of rare and signed Neil Gaiman books for auction/direct buy:

• Melinda written by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by Dagmara Matuszak (view auction page | view publishers’ page at Hill House Publishing) – Hardcover, signed, numbered, first edition, one of a limited edition of 1500 copies of which only 1000 are for sale. Retails for $90, seller asking price is PhP35,000 or higher. Auction ends 1 Feb 2008.
• Interworld written by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by Michael Reeves (view auction page| view publishers’ page at Harper Collins) – Hardcover, signed. Retails for $16.99, seller asking price is PhP3,000 minimum. Auction ends 1 Feb 2008. I suspect this was owned by someone who had it signed when Mr. Neil was here in the Philippines.
• M is for Magic written by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by Gahan Wilson (view auction page | view publishers’ page at Subterranean Press) – Hardcover, #896 of a special limited numbered edition of 1000 copies, signed by Neil Gaiman and Gahan Wilson. Retails for $54.00 minimum on Amazon, seller asking price is PhP6,000 minimum.  Auction ends 6 Feb 2008.
• Adventures in the Dream Trade by Neil Gaiman (view auction page | view publishers’ page at New England Science Fiction Association) – Hardcover, #1410 of a limited numbered trade edition of 1700 copies, signed by Neil Gaiman.  No idea how much it retails, seller asking price is PhP8,000.00 minimum.  Auction ends 6 Feb 2008.
